Ladell “Seth” Nelson was born on May 29, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Bertha and Herman Nelson.
Ladell later moved to Chicago, IL where he was known for being a very “sharp” dresser. He graduated from Richard T. Crane High School in 1980 in Chicago, IL. He later moved to Milwaukee, WI and finally finding both a final home and many friends who helped to make up his very large very extended family.
Seth had a very illuminating personality that lit up every room he entered. He loved to have fun blasting his music, and going to the beach. Music was his life and that in turn made him the life of the party. Ladell “Seth” Nelson had the biggest heart and had no problem giving you the shirt off his back. Although he did not attend any one organized Church, he had a deep and abiding love for God and believed that Jesus was Son of God. He loved his kids, family, and friends! Being a very passionate person meant Seth always had a story to tell and an audience to listen.
Ladell departed this life on July 31, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father Herman Nelson and son Brandon Nelson.
Ladell “Seth” Nelson leaves to cherish his memories his mother Bertha Nelson (CA); daughters Charisma Holmes (TN), Tiara Rogers (WI), Lashanda Tisdale (IL), and Ashlie Pitman (CA); sons: Martell Rogers (WI), and Tamarye’a Rogers (CA); sisters Gale Nelson (Austin, TX), Tondalaya Nelson, Taranika Nelson, and Tameka Nelson all of Illinois; grandchildren Shawntiara Rogers (WI), Brandon Tisdale (IL), Kaylee Rogers (WI), Eliyah Tisdale (IL), Kamaria Nelson (IL), and Evory Rogers (IL); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and caring friends.
