Ronald Anthony “Ronnie” Taylor was 51 years old, when he passed away in Coronado, San Diego County, California, on Thursday May 11, 2017.
Ronald Anthony Taylor was born on July 31, 1965, to the parents Janice Marie Reeves and Richard James Taylor Sr. (father preceded him in death). On Thursday May 11, 2017 he transitioned to his eternal reward.
Ronald played Pop Warner Football in his youth. He later graduated from Madison High School, in Clairemont (San Diego County), where he started at free safety on defense on the football team. Ronnie was a great football player who worked hard, played hard and hit hard. He was offered a full scholarship from Portland State University to continue his career in football, which he passed on the offer, as he desired to go to a larger university. Ronald opted to play football at Mesa College for one year which concluded his football career.
Ronnie was an Oakland Raider fan, he loved NASCAR, baseball and football; and loved making friends and performing random acts of kindness. Ronnie loved going to Viejas Casino and watching a variety of action packed movies as a part of his routine entertainment. Ronnie had recently started his own business with Legacy Direct, a streaming media company. Yet, his primary passion was reuniting with his children and family, which meant a lot to him.
Ronald Anthony Taylor is survived by Michele Ann Maprana Loo (fiancé) of San Diego, CA, Atiya Marie Smith (sister) and Erik Smith Sr. (brother-in-law) of Morgan Hill, CA, Richard James Taylor Jr. (brother) of Fresno, CA, his children- Shanice Marie Taylor (daughter), and Anthony Jordan Taylor (son) of San Diego, CA, grandchildren- Jayda Faith Taylor-Gonzalez (granddaughter); parent- Janice Marie Reeves (mother) of San Diego, CA, Dolores Marie Gaines (great-aunt) of La Mesa, CA, along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
