Kurt Campbell, Jr.

March 19, 1984 ~ July 30, 2018 (age 34)

Kurt Campbell Jr. was born on March 19, 1984. He was the second born to Kurt Patrick Campbell Sr. and Ericka Yvette Dockery, and step-father Keith Alan Dockery. Kurt was born and raised in San Diego, CA, along with his five siblings. 

Kurt Campbell, Jr. was also nicknamed by family as “Kurt Kurt”. Kurt attended Monte Vista High School where he graduated in 2002. Shortly after graduating he became a long time employee for the Coca Cola Company based in San Diego. In Kurt’s early twenties, he practiced and studied martial arts where he became passionate about fitness and wanted to become a personal trainer. Kurt always kept a gym routine to remain physically fit. 

In the year 2007, he welcomed his first son Orion Spartan Campbell. In 2012, Kurt moved to Fort Collins, CO where he began working hard in the oil industry. He then welcomed another baby boy Kamen and his only baby girl Koralyn. After two years of working in the oil industry, Kurt decided to change his career path and went to trucking school and obtained his CDL. 

 When he had the chance, Kurt loved being surrounded by his surviving siblings Brandi Campbell, La’Ru Campbell, Kayla Mae Dunston (Hakeem), Kurtis Campbell, and Kiva Campbell. Kurt had a great loving and supporting relationship with his surviving parents, grandparents Lula Mae Hunter and Glasper Hunter Jr., his only Aunt Stacy Taylor and his Uncle’s Reggie Trimble and Fredrick Joseph. With his grandparents Mae Opal Blue, Ernest Blue, and his Uncle Norris Trimble preceding him in death.

 Kurt loved to dance, workout, practice his martial arts, and enjoyed tattoo art. Kurt had a smile that showed those deep dimples that would brighten a room and an infectious personality. Kurt will truly be missed and always remembered. May his legacy and name be carried on through his surviving children. 

Kurt Campbell Jr. was called home on Monday July 30, 2018 in Frederick, Colorado. He will be remembered and missed by all whose lives he touched during his lifetime. WE LOVE YOU!!!!
