Ramona Jean Spencer was born on March 8, 1961 to Eddie Jean and Roy E. Spencer in San Diego, California. Ramona Jean was their 2nd child together. Ramona affectionately known as Mona, attended Meade Elementary, Chollas Elementary, Gompers Jr. High and graduated from Lincoln Highschool. Soon after she graduated she served in the United States Armed forces, she was active in R.O.T.C and later in the U.S Army Reserves. Ramona had a very productive career, later working as a Telecommunication Center Operator, for the San Diego Police Force, as a Dietitian for U.C.S.D Hospital, and after retiring she began working for the City San Diego School District. Ramona was a woman of many talents. She believed in taking care of business and her life was filled with love, laughter and joy.
On July 28, 2018 there was a call for an angel to be given an order of transition to Heaven. She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted son Jeremy Spencer; mother Eddie Jean Spencer; father Roy E Spencer, who preceded her in death; two sisters, Ella Jean Groce of San Diego and Deborah Elaine who preceded her in death; two brothers, Roy A Spencer, Jr. & John Darrin Spencer of San Diego; grandparents Charles and Ella Mae Lothridge, who preceded her in death; two nephews, Clarence White and Webster Stephenson of San Diego; two Angels Royalty and Phetima; and a host of relatives, loved ones, and friends.
